With my 328i GT M I have paired my iphone and the wife's to the car. What I have noticed is my phone is the master and wife's secondary I can make calls from my phone but with the wifes cannot make calls only receive hope this helps.

I have a 2014 118i, but was directed to here as the best place to find answers. I've seen elsewhere that there is a function for Telephone 1 and Telephone 2 for two phones to be connected at the same time (maybe I've been making it up).
