Hi Ilovewagons: I have been struggling to figure how to remove the trim panel covering the battery on my F31, mainly due to the chrome "adaptive retainer fixing pin" to which you refer as the storage bar locking hole thing! To be clear, you just yank the trim piece up and it releases off of the storage system hole thing? I have not been able to find anything about this apart from your post. I would appreciate any advice you could provide. Thanks.
