This past week I noticed something odd in one of my pictures (front view, see attached). I got back from a recent business trip and took a better look under the bumper. Sure enough there is about a 6" tear. I have not hit anything or gone over a bad pot hole while I have owned this car so this damage was here when I purchased the car in March. Shame on me for not getting under the car to take a look. it was raining but still no excuse. That said, I will probably now be looking at a bumper replacement and will go with a M Sport bumper.

I have done a search in the forum for past threads and there are few that discuss going from an Sportline bumper to a M Sport. For those who have done this let me know what M Sport bumper was sourced, the parts needed that are different from parts for the Sportline, what parts can be transferred, and the overall process in the replacement. This is something I will probably undertake later this summer or into the fall when I get some time.
