Yep yep, I feel like the wave peaked in the late 90's and then started to break and crumble... used to love driving my folk's 328iS coupe and riding in my rich buddy's 740iL they were truly proper sport/luxo/executive rides.

The 3, 5 and 7 series from those particular model years were THE BEST! Those cars still look so amazing. I saw a 7 series today it was either a 99 or a 2000 model year - made me happy. So simple and yet so striking. BMW just went downhill from there with almost all the designs. First, by trying to be too radical and now by being clueless or plain stupid or both.
