Looks like the above article might have switched the most/least reliable.
The video of the 328 at the track is pretty impressive! I had one as a loaner, and the auto-stop/start does suck as much as they say it does... |
If you read the actual Consumer Report (not USA Today's paraphrase)...you will see that the 7 series is the least liked of the BMW series...followed by the 5 series. The 328 remains the most liked (although, CR likes the F30 a great deal...it says the F30 is too new to rate on reliability). The prior model series E90's...the 328 model....was given the highest reliability rating. The 5, 6 and 7 series have traditionally dragged BMW's overall reliability ratings down.
