It will actually be my 7th BMW, so you can see that I quite, sort of, like them 
Prior to getting the 328i GT in September 2013, I had a 328i Coupe. I enjoy the little bit of extra height in the GT as I find it easier to get in and out of. I love the shape and style of the 4GC, but as I turn 70 next week, I'm going for the comfort of my second GT.
I love the exclusivity of this particular model, not many up here.

Looking at a 335 for my father and mom thinks I'm nuts not to get him the 328. They're your age so sounds like a similar dynamic.
