Bimmerlink (same dev as Bimmercode) has battery registration functionality along with trouble code reading/clearing, exhaust flap control, and active sound control (if your car has ASD). It's thirty-something bucks in the Apple App Store.

Funnily enough I already have that app and just used it to clear codes lol. I should fire that app up and give it another look.
