But the reality is that the injectors will last well over 100k miles even with the cheapest fuels, probably twice that. And at an extra 10p per litre, the fuel
still doesn't pay for itself even if you factor in having your injectors cleaned or replaced. Besides. you can always run an injector cleaner through the system once a year for the price of ... a few litres of posh.
It's easy to justify any luxury - after all, none of use
needs a 3 series but we justify it and so anyone who uses posh diesel wants to feel they're getting something for their money. And they
are getting something for their money, just not much and not their money's worth. That doesn't make it rational and posh fuel never ever stands up to purely rational analysis.
