I had similar reasons for 328i Luxury. I also like the dials of Luxury line more than Sport and Modern. They look cleaner for me.
For interior I went with individual leather - kashmere beige / black. I like the practicality of black carpeting and contrast that light leather gives. Plus I hope that light leather will be less hot during summer.
