I recently downgraded Rims from 19 VMR v701s to 18 OEM Syle 197's to increase ride comfort and am looking to get thicker tires to further increase ride comfort.
Currently I have Style 197 OEM 18 Rims with the following setup:
FRONT: 18x8.0 ET34 225/40/18
REAR: 18x8.5 ET37 255/35/18
Is it ok to go with the following:
REAR: 18x8.5 ET37 255/40/18 or 255/45/18 or 255/50/18?
will the rim size 8.5 handle even wider? 265?
