100% agree, removing the stock pipe is the hardest part.
Put the car on ramps and if you have auto trans disconnect the vacuum lines from the intake to the trans controller and that connector to the chargepipe. Once all that's out of the way go from the bottom after disconnecting from the intercooler and have someone grab it from the top and twist it counter clockwise and back and you both try to twist it out of the cavity. Saw this process on a youtube install video and it was super helpful.
