It will be my first wash and wax, as I've never waxed a car I owned before.
Like everyone, I watched a couple of youtube videos on waxing and claybaring and I liked Pan the Organizer one the best.
For interest, there is a polisher on sale at Canadian tire for $41. It's an 8" polisher and while I have never owned one before, I could use some feedback.

Everyone has their own process, but after having tried several different processes this is what I like best.
I use a pressure washer to rinse, nothing crazy I used the Green Works model - 1500 psi, and never go too close to the paint with it.
Then snow foam, I like the chemical guys honeydew.
Rinse. Then you can use a spray wax, followed by a sealant/gloss magnifier - I use chemical guys.
But if your car hasn't been clay barred in a long time, get some Iron-X. Cover the car in that and rinse off after 5 minutes or less. Then snow foam it and clay bar it. This basically restores the paint.
