Have they actually tried different wheels on the front, to eliminate it being a wheel issue?
Typically there will be some vibration through the car along with the steering wheel, if it is a wheel issue.
Is it surface influenced, or constant, whatever the surface?
I ask one obvious question, is the steering wheel vibration a typical 'wheel shake' tremble, or is it a much higher frequency, as if it is from the steering rack/mechanism itself?
If driving on centre, does it ease off, and come on stronger as you just inch the wheel in either direction?
