Regular black plastidip has a matte type look after awhile. I did the front grill on my last car. Had a matte look. Looked fine after four years. I usually do 5-6 layers.
You probably should’ve did a coat of glossifier on your wheels as the last coat.
I’m debating doing graphite metalizer dip on my summer wheels. After the last coat dries I plan on sealing the dip with a layer of sealant to keep the brake dust off.
