Could someone review for me the best way to update an older working Windows system (PSdZData 48.3 with ESys 3.18.4) to 50.3 and 3.23.4?

I searched this thread, but it's so large I couldn't find the posts that I think describe a process of simply re-installing ESys (and getting a new token, of course) and overlaying the entire psdzdata folder.

Would that still work?
Start over. Uninstall E-Sys 3.18.4 though the Control Panel, and delete the psdzdata folder (e.g. C:\ESysData\psdzdata). The following the installation instructions as if it was the first time.
