Wow I don't know where to start. I am in Texas too and I would just say it probably the high rag weed content we have in the air!! It just has allergies to mods!

Also I loved your sentence "The car has always had a JB4 tune with the N20 engine and ran perfectly fine." Right before it exploded!

Anyhow I don't have much for you and I know your running a good amount of boost which needs a small gap but those plugs seem a little snug on the gap to me.
