In regards to the C-Klasse. Whilst it may look like an S-Klasse the key difference from an S-Klasse is that the metal details might be metal in the S-Klasse , they are not in the C-Klasse.
Those things are expected but other than the improvement in steering, many are happy with how the pre-LCI F30 performs, the updates are a bonus. Many gripes of the F30 is and will always be the interior. Some people didn't like it compared to the E9X and these concerns got worse after the C-Class was introduced. Not sure why people think BMW is going do a serious upgrade to the interior, it has never happened before.
