When considering the F30 years back I looked into the active hybrid. All of the ones I test drove had all seasons. You could tell there wasn't enough grip on those tires since the AH3 has instant tq so the tires just squealed at every stop under heavy throttle. I knew I had to look elsewhere at that stage, all seasons suck in the dry for these cars
I think there's every reason to think that C&D is stacking the deck here. They even have the gall to mention the S5's victory over a RWD 435i - when in fact their own numbers in this test thoroughly undermine their published rationale for choosing the RWD to compare to the S5. In fact an xDrive 435i 8 AT with MPPK on summer tires will (just) outperform the Audi, while offering a usable back seat and trunk.
