You can take off the wheel and measure the rotor diameter.

Since the caliper is Grey they either came from factory that way, Or the previous owner (if they exist) removed the paint and left them bare. The latter is highly unlikely. It is more likely the previous owner (if they exist) took this standard brake package off a 6cyl car and fitted it to your 328.

So let's go with the former. You do not the typical "Msport" brake package. Those are always painted (blue), and like above CAN be in 340/345, or 370/345. There is no way to confuse the rears with any other package as the calipers are completely different.

There are many variants of the front, your unpainted, blue (also on f8x stock), and (red, yellow, orange labled "MPerformance"). These all have the same 4pistons and only differ by the paint, and the length of the integrated caliper mount. All are a single piece of aluminum. If you can just look at the stamp on the back of the caliper. It will tell you the rotor sizes it will support.

There are countless threads about this so pick one and read for more detail.

Note: never buy F8x stock breaks at a premium. It's the same part number for us just a different application.

And to make things more complicated you will have users like me who took Grey unpainted fronts, and the 2piston rears, then powdercoated them . Moral of the story look at the back of the caliper if you can.
Excellent post. Here are some photos that illustrate what you said
