If they install it themselves, it's no problem as they're the ones doing the labour and they're able to record the work and what was used on the vehicle, however if you do it yourself, it's a different story. Also the dealer has to be dinan approved to be able to install aftermarket.

Remember, we pay a stupid amount of tax in quebec, so if let's say the car is 60k brand new in the states, we pay close to 80k due to taxes.
