My 2016 F34 had the DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION value set to "10.25_1280x480" from factory (eventhough it came with a 6.5" screen and no navigation). So both the 6.5" and 8.8" screens work okay even if you have a larger resolution configured.
Don't remember the default for DISPLAY_VARIANTE, but I think it was "schmales_display".
