I still dont get why people think that AWD is a replacement for winter tires. Unless people are talking about studded tires as winter tires. I guess its more of a US thing. With winter tires you can be much more aggresive in taking corners at lower temperatures. It doesnt even have to snow. Summer compound gets harder in lower temperatures, AWD wont prevent that.
