Well a 16.8% decrease in light trucks is never a good feeling when the SUV is dominating US vehicle sales at large. Since the text mentions that the X5 performed well, the X4 and X6 don't sell in big enough numbers to cause such a large decrease to my knowledge, and the X1 is counted as a passenger car, it must mean that the X3 is down sharply. Perhaps it will just take a month or two for the new one to pick up steam. Also, last September's sales probably rose from incentives since it was the final year. Although, in that case, the X5 is probably subject to that same phenomena today since it is now in its final year. X4 too for that matter, for what that's worth.
