First hand experience.
Bought one fitted it, everything was good except for the fact that in comfort (so 8th gear), sitting on a crusing road at a steady 70/80 it would drone, especially if you just wanted a slight press on the accelerator to gently increase speed.
Put it in sports mode so 7th gear, revs were a little higher so not so bad. I'm all for haveing some fun and noise, but having an exhaust on a car where it's a PIA to cruse in 8th was pointless, especially as a lot of my journeys are over 200 miles.
Took it off after 2 weeks & sold it. Standard 340i exhaust with flap permanently open, no drone and still sounds nice.
Just my experience, I appreciate others may find different.
