I'm on ios 7.02
txt works all the time.
Email, it only works if you make a change in Email notification settings after the phone is connected to the car's bluetooth once the car is started. In other word, I need to do this everytime I start the car if I want email to work.
Actually, I got the same result even with ios 6.
