Apologies for starting another wheel corrosion thread... here goes.
Like others both my passenger side wheels (442M's) have corrosion / milking around the edges and some near the centre caps.
I've been in contact with the dealer about this since I had my car serviced in April. The service department have pushed me towards speaking to the salesman who I got the car of (he has been helpful in this).
This is what I recently sent them:
Hi #####
I'm good thanks. Hope you are too.
I was under the impression that the wheels would get replaced with new ones? This is what the service advisors were hinting at and also a few people I know with the same issue have had there wheels replaced under warranty rather than get repaired. This seems to be a common issue with the diamond cut wheels and many dealers have replaced them free of charge...
Few posts online about the same common issue where wheels were replaced under warranty:

This is his reply:
Hi there Mr #####
Thanks for the email.
I haven't forgotten just swamped with things unfortunately.
I have spoken to my manager at length about it and he has advised that we cannot change the wheels for 2 replacements , but I am just waiting for confirmation from our prep centre on getting the wheels sent away to be re polished which will resolve the current problem.
If the come back to me that they can do that which I would think they will , the next stage would be to arrange a time for the car to come in and put you in my demo for a few days while the wheels are being done.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards

What should I do? Should I go to another dealer and start talking with them instead... or do I just accept the "refurb" and move on (least fav option of mine)
If others have had their wheels replaced then surely the same service should be offered to all customers?
