Your guys are nuts, why is everyone moaning about more models? More models are good for everyone!

Niche's are where its at, and although it might cannibalize other series, its ok, they will still sell every one they make (except for the 3er and 5er GT, don't get me started on that crap)...

I don't see it as "diluting" I see it as "exclusifying." Lets just think about it... Say in the e90 body style that BMW sold, I have no idea, 1,000,000 units over its life. With all of the new f models coming out, maybe they will only sell 600,000 f30's, but now they will also sell 600,000 4er GC's. Sure they might share a lot of parts (news flash all BMW's share a lot of parts) but now they have overall increased sales, while still managing to come down in volume on each model making them less readily available. What does this do? This keeps initial sales prices high at the dealer, and then helps keep resale prices high throughout the life of the vehicle(s).

As I said in a previous post, bring me my e46 sized M2 GC soon please!
