If the tech was the same it would support both OS types. Its does not therefore the tech is not the same.

My source is that I drove a 2017 A4 for a week with my android auto synced up. https://www.android.com/auto/audi/

lets not forget the Fancy LCD readout in the gauge cluster which provides way more useful data and information than the 3 series.



Anyways, my heads not up Audi's ass. If anything I am disappointed in the way they handled the DSG issues that came up for many of us. Based on your extreme lack of knowledge regarding the B9's and Audi in general its safe to say you are the fanboi here.
