So maybe there was a change. I didn't see that earlier. The new PN is 18-30-8-583-372 (the new part).

Just seemed odd to replace the DPF so quickly (other than that it's probably the easiest way to resolve the issue without further troubleshooting and conveniently the most lucrative for the dealer as well).
