Also remember that Mercedes is coming out with a new inline 6, the M256, which makes 408 hp/369 lbft. Jaguar has the new Ingenium inline 6, with tunes ranging from 300 to 500+. So, we know that BMW is watching the developments and upcoming performance of these engines as well, in order to gauge what they can or want to do with the B58.
