To me even though the design looks stretched, but I like the fact that the walls (doors) are not too high.

I don't remember exactly when cars started getting taller and narrower, but back in the 80s-90s before the collapse of the real sports coupe designs (eg. 300ZX, Supra, RX7, NSX, ...), sport cars had wider-lower stance. Then for some reason designs started getting squeezed from sides and pulled from the top (taller and narrower).

BMW is probably the only car maker that still understands shorter height of the doors makes for sportier look. Compare the side walls of the F32 to accord and MB. (I'm not even considering A5, it's all curly and curvy, like a woman with bad makeup).

BMW is back, after the ugly years they've come back to their roots. ...
