The fully digital cluster changes the whole look of the car in my opinion... making it look more like a 2018 (premium) car rather than 1990.
To me it was a "must have" and if I were to get a car without it, retrofitting it was already on #1 of my ToDo.
Anyway I was just curious whether it was intentional or just a miss.

Might be more interesting if it was a match for the one in the Audi but as is does not bring much extra to the party IMHO.
As for the HUD my eyes are on it was more then head down looking at the dashboard. Modern tech is useful when it provides better information without having to look down; basic reason they raised the nav screen into your sight lines.
Aircraft have a s**t load of instruments many displayed on the glass cockpit but high tech is the HUD display which is now appearing on basic transport planes not just military.
