E-Brake Creaking Fixed!

I had this exact same issue on my 2015 F36 - slight creaking from rear driver's wheel well upon entering/exiting vehicle with e-brake engaged.

I read another post somewhere on this forum (wish I remembered where so I could share credit...) the trick was to go out to a 'safe' area and drive the car at low speed and apply the e-brake to slow down the vehicle (i.e. slow down from 20km/hr -10km/hr). Keep the lock button depressed on the lever so as not to actually engage the mechanism, simply pull gently to allow some friction. You will see a warning pop-up in your cluster, just release the brake by placing it back down and releasing the button before the vehicle actually comes to a stop.

After doing this gently three times while driving (once down the driveway and twice more rolling gently to a stop at red lights), the creaking sound was gone when I parked and got out - immediate fix.
