Walmart has leather cleaners and conditioners (Chemical Guys, Lexol). Also get the round blue microfiber/terry applicators. Maybe treat you steering wheel ever 6-12 months depending on how much oil and sweat from your hands build up.
Magic Eraser also works...but leaves a white film...that you can wash off.
If your leather is cracked and dry....you can get a rewrapped steering wheel.
I noticed that pre-2015 cars all have slimey leather steering wheels. 2016+ steering wheels have a more matte leather finish.
