Despite the increasing clarity over part numbers etc. I still see discrepancies that confuse me.

I have a 2012 335i RWD Sportline (from Canada, without Option 704 Sport Suspension) with a 6 speed manual tranny.

According to two references here, my front and rear spring part numbers should be: 31336860629 and 33536860620 respectively.

1) Post from jamesems on 11-20-2012, 8:02pm:
OK, so you'd need different springs. The part numbers you'd need for the front springs is 31336860629 x 2, for manual transmission, 31336860630 x 2, for automatic transmission, and for the rear springs (for both auto and manual trans) is 33536860620 x 2. The springs are $92.40 each.

I looked up the spring codes and they are as follows:

Front springs:
335i 6MT - 31336860629
335i Auto - 31336860630
328i Both - 31336860628

Rear springs:
All - 33536860620

http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=14394765
However, when I logged on BMW's electronics parts catalog with my VIN, and looked up the Spring Table with the M Performance Suspension kit, the numbers I got are:

Front Coil Spring: 31336860630
Rear Coil Spring: 33536860621

QUESTIONS:
- Does any know what the correct part numbers for the springs are??
- Are there any 335i RWD 6MT owners with this setup and what part numbers are you using??

Thank you.

- Retrofit kit - 33-50-2-320-980 - seems in line with other posts (ending with 80 for 328i, 81 for 335i)

- Stabilizer bars seem correct: 31-35-6-792-125 and 33-55-6-853-474

However, when it comes to the coils I am not sure:
- Rear 33-53-6-860-620 seems in line with what others posted.

But the front coil part number my dealer mentioned is 31-33-6-860-629. Is this correct? Some other posts mention this as the one for 335i Manual, but I am not sure how to validate. Mine is the auto 328i.
EDIT: This is correct according ronin's post on page 14..

Does that sound right?

M Performance Suspension: 33 50 2 320 980
M Performance Springs (Front): 31 33 6 860 629
M Performance Springs (Rear): 33 53 6 860 621

I got the springs numbers from my ETK (see attachment). Should I trust that these are right? I only have doubts because I think I saw someone else with a 328i auto with a different number for the rear (he had ...620).

BTW awesome thread peeps... have learned heaps.

I am dealing with same problem.

31336860628 or 31336860629 for fronts?
33536860620 or 33536860621 for rear?

I have read all 30 pages and other smaller threads about MPS but still could not figure it out. I have 328i 2012 with non sport suspension. The only clue i have, 629 is for heavier vehicles. This was written in a russian forum. Here people tell, 629 is for 335i manuel. Any help will be much appriciated.
