I agree, 1200 is a lot to pay for that. Especially if it doesn't mean that much to you.
But just in case, as you ordered LCI, it means you did it recently, like me. Then i need to tell you that you can still change your mind about the equipment (not the engine). BMW has a 2-stage ordering system. First, the dealer orders a monthly quote of series and engine types, this gives you a production week. Then you usually have a few weeks left to decide on the equipment. For example, my dealer put the rest in the system only yesterday, but production week stays. Now, no matter what, the ordering system stay open for few more week before the factory locks it down - usually about two weeks before production starts. I know, because i kept changing my mind with my older orders and the dealer went into the system to correct it.
So, if you feel at least a bit unsure, pay a visit to your dealer, do the math and make the final call. You really don't want to regret it later
