But what johnung wrote, its different from car ceramic coating and is used to keep heat inside the components, cool your bay and other components, reduce IATs and increase temperature of the exhaust gases which means they will be moving faster - which means better scavenging, theoretically better performance.
It also provides anti-corrosion protection unlike wrapping which does in theory the opposite. And it also lasts longer - wrapping is 2-4 year thing and then you have to re-do it. Coating should last longer.
