It's a pretty complicated thing to figure it out since it includes other COST related things like the interest the dealer pays on cars that sit on lots for months (since I'd imagine most dealers use some sort of line of credit to purchase their inventory), marketing materials, etc.

I would imagine volume/dealership size plays a big part in it as well
