Both the 18x9.5" ET35 and 18x9" ET31 have effectively the same concavity and in terms of appearance, it would be nearly impossible to spot the difference. The wheel pads on all sizes remain the same to allow the OEM hardware to be used in spacer-less applications. It is difficult to directly compare offsets and concavity with differing widths of the wheels in question. It is not a direct comparison and gets to be a little bit complicated. The concavity will change slightly with different offsets as they are made from different molds, however it will be very difficult to notice with the naked eye.
