Very possible, The city and state is in support of the event, but not at all cost of what ransom Bernie is asking. And Bernie FOM is threatening Formula 1 does NOT need Australia. His eyes are in gold-digging, blood money Middle Eastern Countries.
Even FIA President Jean Todt claimed that Formula 1 needs Australia. I wonder how much FIA can influence the location. Given all the commercial rights were given to FOM.
