I’m less pessimistic. Mask wearing is common on flights and everywhere apart from here anyway, and seems pretty well adhered to. Minor inconvenience in the scheme of things. Testing rules have gone back and forth all year as well.

I think it might put off those yet to get back travelling, but those who’ve been a few times I think will just shrug and carry on.

Although, I don’t really see the scientific logic of a test on or before day 2 for travelling. I go for one or two days at a time with work, as many do, whatever I catch whilst away is very unlikely to show in a test the day after.
