Just done this as well for my winters as last year got fed up with the warning light. Luckily local tyre place knows me well so was £15 to drop the sensors in. One advice I woudl if buying second hand sensors is go to BMW and buy the service kit. Gives you new stems and seals. About £50 for 4 but worth it IMO. Once sensors are fitted if they are the correct ones no coding or anything is needed on F3x. Simply pop them on the car, do a reset on idrive and go for a drive. After about 3 miles mine popped up with pressure and temps as per my summers. Happy days. Some tyre places still try to rip off that car needs coding etc. Might be case on older E46 / e60 BMWs but not case on latest car neither my i3 or now my F30 needed coding of new sensors.
