Enjoyed it. Gerald was the funniest for me!
My job is linked to agriculture, so I scan Farmers Weekly magazine routinely. There has been a lot of coverage of this in it, and a lot of farmers writing in - the general thrust is "who would have thought it would take a buffoon like JC to bring to life the challenges of farming to the general public, when we've failed to / lose the PR challenge all the time".
Interesting also that his 1,000 acres is pretty small for an arable farm - hence needing to beg for a combine, spending money on an array of small, used kit (apart from the too big Lambo!) - and that his "payments from the government" are critical to profitability - these are now changing after Brexit and are skewing further to environmental custodianship - he seems to be doing a fair bit of that already so his smaller farm might still get decent payments.
