Okay, I've got my beast back. Certainly missed driving it, especially compared to a 2.0 X3 loaner for the last 2 weeks, but mustn't complain about that.

An interesting thing the service guy told me was that BMW could 'see' the incident somewheee in logs or software and 'saw' that both the throttle and the brake were active at the time of the incident. Now, that's interesting, as I said. Everyone accepts that my foot was nowhere near the throttle pedal though :-)
