Just try yesterday with the EVO 2024-2 on my car to see if I'm prompt for any code and after getting message saying a new update is available I got this message "connect usb device with correct activation code".
does anyone know hw to fix that ?

You need an OEM FSC Code issued by BMW AG or you need Aftermarket Patch and Full Set of custom FSC Codes. Again, send me a PM when enabled.

I am trying to generate a code to update my maps to the 01/2024 version. (West Europe)
I believe I have a CICM unit and (car production date 2011-10-04) and chassis number is WBAMX12000C791335.

The car displays the following when looking at Nav Version.
ECE
BMW Group
101094018.0.11
Road Map Europe MOTION 2011
