Bmw 435i cooling issues

Hello everybody!

First of all, Im new here, and I apologize if I opened thread that already exists, i just couldnt find one with the problem I have.

So here is the deal:

I bought 2016 435i F32 like a year and half ago, US import car. Car was slightly damaged and repaired with OEM only parts, and drove just fine.

Like a week ago, i was driving in comfort mode, and noticed my oil temp gauge dropped from operating temp of 110-115c(230-239f) to like a 90-95c(194-203f) and stayed there for the rest of the trip.
Now, im familiar with oil temps varying when driving in sport or sport +.
But until now, my oil temp was always near middle mark when driving in comfort mode only.
I also didnt step on a gas pedal like a maniac, i was just cruising on cruise control.
I am running Castrol 5w30 oil.

I am not mechanic and my knowledge is pretty limited, could this mean oil thermostat stuck open or partially stuck?

Hope someone can help me

Thanks in advance!

Edit: forgot to mention, outside temp was like 15c(59f).
