Garage List
2018 BMW X5  [0.00]
2014 BMW 428i  [10.00]
It holds 7 quarts total, but at most you will drain / fill 5 quarts during the process with the rest being kept up in the torque converter.

unit converter says 5 quarts is around 4.6 litres.

my local shop sells it in a 1L bottle @ $20 SGD/bottle

do I get 5L? also, do I change the sump with filter?

There’s a whole kit for the zf transmission. You need to replace the entire pan as it has the filter built in. The process is rather involved and you need a lift. If you are at a higher mileage and it wasn’t done before you may not want to do it.
