N47 Possible Turbo Whine

I recently had a lot of pro-active maintenanceon my 90,000 mile F31 320d. This included new timing chain, clutch, new re-furb turbo, fmic and a re-map. For the first 100 miles when I got it back it was absolutely fine, but it has developed a ‘whine’ as the boost builds. Please see attached video, I have sent it to the garage that did the work but as it is a bank holiday I hope someone can identify what it is and let me know if the car is safe to drive (off boost) or if I should wait to hear from garage.

Thank you!!

I have a stage 2 remap and no dpf, on cold starts sometime there is a little whine from the turbo as it builds boost and its completely fine, has done soo since the dpf removal and remap 2 years ago.

But the sound i hear from your video sounds way different, and to my ears it sound like a ¨dont drive sound¨.

Was it a refurbished turbo and not just re-used from other parts car.
Have you looked for any intake/exhaust leaks. A small leak with the pressure building up can lead to sounds like this.

Yeah thats not a whine sounds like crap. Are you sure its coming from the turbo? Can you replicate it while parked or in neutral? Also, seems like a LOT of proactive maintenance what drove you to replace the timing chain, clutch and turbo proactively?
