BMW finance
Hi everyone,
have options for my upcoming delivery regarding the purchase itself - cash, lease, BMW full circle... I'm looking at maximising possible business deductions so leasing makes sense. Anyone purchased already with this sort of thing in mind already? Opinions on BMW full circle? Opinions on other BMW finance products? Thanks!!

You got it!
Speak to your accountant as different requirements and business setups require different approaches. However, leasing has always been the standard for maximising tax deductibility in years past. Might be different now, with gov't incentives etc.

Like David said best for accountant to work out the leasing benefits in terms of $'s , the finanace guy at the dealer would happily work out for you the full circle difference in $ value vs a normal loan. For me it leasing was nvr my prefered option.
I remember the finance guy mentioning that full circle value is based on private sale.. so have a think to see if u might fork out more at the end of the program. Quote:

Talk to your accountant. Similar situation on my current car, and leasing worked best due to lots of business usage. But it could be different for you.
I'm at 85%. 3 days a week in the Newcastle office I manage, 2 days in a Gosford office, plus regular trips to Canberra, Orange, Tamworth, Sydney, Port Mac etc so nearly every km I do is for work purposes. |

They have been compared to tears welling up. Actually, they are tears welling up.
There was a thread on the main forum early on asking if the standard F30's front was deliberately made a little ugly. ABSOLUTELY YES!!! Glad I waited 7 months for the M-Sport and Bi-Xenons are a must. Shame about the halogen fog lights colour temp mismatch though.

I just don't get why people have the issue with the fog lights, they're that colour for a reason and shouldn't be on in normal driving conditions.

Yes, you are correct, they shouldn't be on during normal driving/weather conditions, are illegal to have on in Victoria except during hazardous & foggy conditions and can result in a fine and loss of demerit points when used incorrectly. Nonetheless, lots of people have them on at night during clear weather conditions. I still want mine to match the Bi-Xenons. Might look at changing them over one day. Then again, I might consider many things.

im at 92% i think. As my home is my office, i can can claim almost all travel for vehicle.
Many claim 100% travel but apparently that catches the eye of the tax man I went full circle, as it was $10 more per month then the best rate i could get 6.5%. I did 4 year 25000km full circle, peace of mind i guess that i can walk at the end with no residual. |

True. I live in Newcastle and I don't claim from home to Newcastle office. But Newcastle to Gosford I do. I always have to go to the office first to get plans...

no sorry didnt make that clear, 4 years with 25000km per year
so 4 years 100000kms well yes there is a residual but BMW guarantee they pay that at the end, so i dont have to worry about negative equity |
