Hey people,

first off, let me know if im not posting in the right sub-forum, i just got my account setup for this one particular question and not very familiar with how these forums work.

I've had my F36 430i 2018 for about 2-3 weeks now, and im kinda scrathing my head about something..

I'll describe this problem with a step-by-step scenario.
If i (1.) unlock the car and wait for about 2-3 minutes while letting the head, tail-lights and dash dim down (2.) enter the car, the dash lights up and shows a m550d logo.. on a 4 series?
It doesnt show up if i just unlock and hop in the car as i normally do.
Any ideas on whats going on? This is the 2018 6WB cluster as far as i can tell.
I've seen some people coding and whatnot with these dashboards and im curious if there is any easy reset for these things.

The previous owner has coded this in.
It's very simple to code back out. BimmerCode will do it.

What do i need to get it up and running? OBD Ethernet and laptop?

BimmerCode is an app on your phone

For me I use an ENET cable since I already have one to use with my laptop, and and ethernet to lightning connector for my iPhone.

You can also use a OBD2 bluetooth adapter for your phone without a cable, they recommend some on their website
